Buddy Walk 2008
The Silicon Valley Down Syndrome Network and the National Down Syndrome Society will be having its 4th annual Buddy Walk on October 4th at Lake Cunningham Park in San Jose. This is our biggest event of the year with an expected crowd of over 1,000 walkers who come from around the Bay Area to participate in the 1-mile walk and to enjoy lunch and entertainment while promoting awareness for all people with Down syndrome. In addition, we raise funds to help support local programs and national education, research and advocacy efforts. The Bay Area Buddy Walk is the largest local event for our families and friends to show their support of people with Down syndrome.
