Buddy Walk 2007

The 2007 Bay Area Buddy Walk was held on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at the Cypress Pavilion at Lake Cunningham Park (San Jose). We continued to grow our event, had three self advocates speak, and had the Mayor of San Jose in attendence.

Buddy Walk 2006

Our Second Annual Bay Area Buddy Walk was held on Saturday, October 21, 2006, at Lake Cunningham park in San Jose, CA. We double our attendence and had even more fun this year! We raised over $28,000 which will be spent on improving the lives of people with Down Syndrome in our community.

Buddy Walk 2005

Our First Annual Bay Area Buddy Walk was held on Saturday, October 8, 2005. It was a great day, hundreds of happy faces showed their support for people with Down Syndrome. We had face painting, a bluegrass band, fire trucks, a world famous BBQ, spin art and more. We raised over $20,000 which benefited local groups and research on Down Syndrome.
